What We Believe
We believe in the historic Christian faith as summarized in the Apostle's
Creed and in the confessions known as the Three Forms of Unity.
God the Father
His Sovereignty & Grace
- We believe that God the Father is the sovereign Creator and sustainer of all things,
- God upholds and governs all creation by His providence, working all things according to the counsel of His will and for His glory .
- We believe that the Father, in His grace, adopts believers as His children in Jesus Christ, caring for them, disciplining them, and securing their eternal inheritance.
Jesus Christ
His Person & Work
- We believe that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully human, the eternal Son of God who took on flesh for our salvation.
- He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.
- He lived a real human life—experiencing weakness, temptation, suffering, and sorrow—yet without sin, and in perfect obedience to the Father.
- He was crucified and rose from the dead for the forgiveness of sins, accomplishing redemption for His people.
The Holy Spirit
His Work & Presence
- We believe that the Holy Spirit is fully God and is present with and within His people.
- He applies the saving work of Jesus Christ to believers, effectually calling them to faith and giving them new life.
- He dwells in us, uniting us to Christ, and works in us to produce repentance, faith, and obedience.
- Through the Holy Spirit, we are being sanctified and equipped to abide in the gospel and endure in the faith until we are with Christ in glory.
The Means of Grace
Word, Sacraments & Prayer
- We believe that God nourishes and strengthens His people through the ordinary means of grace: the Word, the sacraments, and prayer.
- Through the faithful preaching of Scripture, the administration of baptism and the Lord’s Supper, and a life of prayer, the Holy Spirit works to confirm our faith and conform us to Christ.
The Church
Its Purpose & Mission
- We believe that the Church is the body of Christ, called to worship God, proclaim the gospel, and make disciples of all nations.
- The Church exists to glorify God forever.
- The church's mission is to disciple all nations to abide in the gospel of Jesus Christ.

The Gospel & Our Hope
Salvation & Eternal Life
- We believe that salvation is found in believing the gospel of Jesus Christ as taught in the Scriptures.
- We abide in this gospel and endure in it by faith empowered by the Holy Spirit.
- We believe that Jesus Christ will come again to judge the living and the dead.
- We believe that believers will dwell with God in everlasting life, enjoying Him forever in the new heavens and the new earth.
