The deVuysts began serving with Resonate Global in Ukraine in 1998. Together with their partners, they began training church leaders in Ukraine’s post-Soviet, post-Christian, and post-atheist society in order to develop healthy churches with a biblical understanding of Christianity so that God's Kingdom may transform all spheres of life and society. A key aspect of this training includes “Healing Hearts, Transforming Nations”, which leads people through a process of healing and reconciliation centered around a fresh encounter with
Jesus at the cross. After several years in the US, due to the war in Ukraine, George and Sarah, moved to Budapest, Hungary in 2025 to continue their ministry from there. Their three grown children, Abigail, Matthew and Elizabeth, live in the US.
