Steve and Sandra have been serving with Resonate Global in the Dominican Republic since 1991. Not only have they partnered with the Christian Reformed Churches of the DR in leadership development, discipleship, evangelism, construction, and community transformation, but they have also ministered with Sinergia Leadership Foundation, which includes 16 Christian Reformed schools (COCREF) serving about 3,500 students in marginal communities. In addition, they spent much time working with North American volunteer teams and individuals who participated in a variety of cross-cultural and ministry experiences. In
addition, Sandra taught at the International School of Santo Domingo in a number of roles. In 2025, they moved to Jacksonville, FL, to take on a part-time position with Resonate, where they serve both the Dominican Republic and Haiti remotely.
