How to be Involved

If you have a musical talent, consider offering that gift in one of our worship services. Not musical? There are plenty of ways listed below to serve .  Interested? Just fill out the contact form or call the church office.

Worship Choir

The Worship Choir leads the music in our 9:00a worship service (September – May). The choir is open to anyone who desires to offer his/her vocal talent and time. We strive for musical excellence while keeping the focus on worship versus performance.

Rehearsals are on Wednesdays, 7 to 8:30p, Choir Room.

Praise Team

The Praise Team leads the music during our 11:15a worship service. This group includes musicians who play guitars, bass, percussion and strings. Our goal is to offer modern music that focuses on worship and is in touch with our culture.

Rehearsals are on Thursdays, 5:30 to 7p, Sanctuary.

Inspire Choir

The Inspire Choir assembles on the 2nd Sunday of each month to assist leading music in our 11:15a worship service. This group helps “inspire” the people as we offer praises to our God. Anyone who has a heart for praise is encouraged to join.

Rehearsals are scheduled monthly on Thursdays, 6 to 7p, Sanctuary.

Student Choir

Our Student Choir (K – 8th grade) participates in our worship services and special presentations (September through May). the students learn how to use and develop their voices for the glory of Almighty God.

Rehearsals are on Wednesdays, 6:00 to 6:45p, Choir Room.

Student Hand Chime Choir

This group of committed students gather each week to learn basic music rading through the use of handchimes. They prepare pieces for worship and play periodically in our services (September through May).

Rehearsals are on Wednesdays, 6:00 to 6:45p, Narthex.

Keyboardists

Skilled organists, pianists, and keyboardists assist with leading music in all services.

Orchestra

Our orchestra includes musicians who play a variety of stringed, woodwind, brass, and percussion instruments. This group provides music for special choir presentations, seasonal events, and worship services. Many individuals also provide solos and play in small ensembles for weekly services.

Technology Team

Sound operators, video projectionists and the lighting crew use technology to enhance and support seamless weekly services with minimal distraction.

Drama Team

Our drama team uses skits and dramatic readings to enhance our worship and special presentations.

Ushers

As we gather for services and events, our helpful ushers provide people with seating, bulletins and directions to various areas of our facilities.

Greeters

This friendly group welcomes people as they come in the doors. If you enjoy making people feel at home and comfortable, this is a great job for you.

Nursery

The BCRC nursery is staffed with individuals who love children and wish to see them grow in Christ. Nursery is available at all regular and special worship services.
