Evangelism at Bradenton
Christian Reformed Church focuses on reaching out to our
neighbors and friends with the good news of Christ, discipling them
into a maturing faith and enfolding them into the church.
We have also begun a church plant – Epicenter Community Church – located
in Ellenton through the efforts of Rev. Don Ridder and his mission team.
With regard to missions, congregation members have been involved in short-term
mission projects throughout North America and the world. Finally, the
congregation is an avid supporter of missionaries through its support
of the Christian Reformed Church Home Missions and World Missions.
| Mission Emphasis Week generally the third or fourth week of January |
It
is a time to grow not only in knowledge about our mission programs,
but also to grow spiritually as we pledge to God and to the church
our financial and prayer support for its mission efforts, both at
home and abroad. Mission Emphasis Week is sponsored by our Faith
Promise Committee.

Serve |
Each year,
the congregation sponsors a mission team which comes to Bradenton
to help in local service projects in Manatee County. During Spring
Break, high school students and their adult sponsors come from across
the United States and Canada to participate in a week of worship and
service to God. Furthermore, a group of local high school students
also take part in SERVE (national mission projects) during the summer
months.
For more information, contact info@bradentoncrc.org.
